Morning: Bochic and Miriam Salat Fall 2012 Collections
I went to go see Bochic and Miriam Salat’s Fall collections. The collections are very glam boho chic. The jewelry has become popular on the Red Carpet. And, one of the celeb fans is Lady Gaga, who has been spotted wearing the Glamour Earrings from Miriam Salat. Miriam studied anthropology prior to becoming a jewelry designer and loves to incorporate her travels into her design process. The Fall collection was inspired by a visit to the Manus tribe; a Stone Age tribe, who live in the forest of New Guinea, survive off the land, do not utilize metal, and live in high tree housing. To reach the tribe, she chartered a private plane and hiked for days. During her time with the tribe, she wore traditional garb, lived in a hut the tribeswomen built her, and participated in their daily life. Therefore, she incorporated elements of nature, fashion, and animal motifs into the Fall collection. Miriam co-designs Bochic with David Aaron Joseph. Bochic has been spotted on Kate Beckinsale, Viola Davis, and Jessica Chastain this past Award Season.
Afternoon: Luncheon hosted by Roberta Armani in celebration of the reopening of the Giorgio Armani Madison Avenue boutique
I attended a luncheon hosted by the beautiful Roberta Armani celebrating the reopening of the Giorgio Armani flagship boutique on Madison Avenue and 65th Street. The boutique was amazing! The décor included Marmorino textured walls, rugs, and of course gorgeous Armani Casa furniture. The new, redesigned space introduced a second-floor shoe salon, and dedicated spaces to Giorgio Armani Made to Measure and the Armani Prive line.
In attendance were: Graziano de Boni, Ellen Niven, Gil Cueto, Peggy Siegel, Zani Gugelmann, Jennifer Creel, Catherine Colley, Olivia Chantecaille, Milly de Cabrol, Blandy Coty, Tasha Green, Amanda Ross, Alixe Laughlin and Christine Erpf.
Evening: Launch of Kenneth Cole Collection
Kenneth Cole launched a new design concept, the Kenneth Cole Collection, which is a new, higher end clothing and accessory line available in stores in July. They sent me this incredible clutch, that goes along with the oversized clutch trend. I love it, because I can fit my iPad, all of my business folders, and still look chic at the same time!

Reed Krakoff Fall 2012 Accessory Preview
I stopped by the Reed Krakoff Fall 2012 Accessory Preview. I loved all the colors and saw their new IT bag for Fall. It’s called the Gym Tote, a tote with a stripe down the center. So chic! His signature Boxer bag with the buckles gets updated in a bright pink color, which is so fab. They also have this multi-colored crocodile bag called the Mini Atlantque, which I’m so in love with!
