9:00 p.m. Marc Balet and Taghi Naderzad
Downtown excursion to Café Select, a European/Swiss bistro that attracts cool, creative, downtown types. I went to meet the infamous and oh-so-sweet Marc Balet—who was art director at Interview during the Warhol days—and Taghi Naderzad, a cool, fashion photographer that I love working with!

Packing for Bal Harbour
Packing and putting outfits together for a fashionista is not always an easy thing to do. What accessories do I bring? What accessories do I put with what dress?

2:00 p.m. St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort
Helloooooo, Miami! I arrive at the amazing new St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort and Residences in Miami for the Grand Opening Celebration Weekend.
5:00 p.m. I have a blowout with the hot Eduardo at The Privé Salon in the hotel for the night's event.
8:00 p.m. Midnight Supper at the J&G grill, hosted by St. Regis Global Brand Leader, Paul James, and General Manager, Marco Selva. It was a seated dinner of 75, which included Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier, Jason Wu and Gustavo Rangel, Olivia Chantecaille, Mary Alice Stephenson, Daniel Capello, Brooke Travis, Arizona Muse, and many Miami influencers.
Surprise guest performance was Niia, the jazz singer that collaborated with Wyclef Jean, Akon, and Lil’ Wayne on “Sweetest Girl (Dollar bill),” which put her on the charts. We all moved to the St. Regis Bar to listen to her sing to someone’s cell phone texts! I’m glad it wasn’t mine.

A Day of Luxury-St. Regis Bal Harbour
It was all about my Presidential Suite Cabana. I have never seen anything like this before and the service is insane. Inside the cabana there is a shower, bath, and a lounge bed to relax if you have had too much sun. Outside there is a patio table, lounge chairs, and towels. Bottle service and massage anyone? We relaxed, had lunch, swam in the ocean and came back to my center, my cabana. I want one in New York and the service that comes along with it!
8:30 p.m. The Grand Opening Celebration of the St. Regis Bal Harbour, included celebrities like Diane Kruger, Wolf Blitzer, and many socials and models. It was one of the most spectacular parties that I have experienced. Walking down to the party from the hotel, candle-lit stairs led us to an oasis of cabanas filled with pillows and throws. There was a dining courtyard leading to the pool area where we all watched a live performance and beautiful fireworks. The people at the St. Regis know how to throw a party, but most of all how to make everyone feel welcomed and taken care of.
