So much for those naysayers who said Kate Upton didn't have any fashion cred.

Rihanna Covers November's Vogue » |
Since covering the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, the blonde bombshell has landed a covetable (if not a tad bizarre) shoot for Carine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book, and now she's gone and scored herself an appearance in Vogue.
The November issue—fronted by the radiant-in-red Rihanna—features a profile on Upton that has her weighing in on her rise from unknown swimsuit model to supermodel-in-the-making while posing for Steven Meisel in all-American sportswear from Donna Karan New York, Jason Wu, Narciso Rodriguez, and Michael Kors.
"She is beautiful, sexy, and all-American," Meisel says of the 20-year-old, who references her beachy roots in a black Ralph Lauren swimsuit. "Not only is she hardworking and focused, but she is also very funny, upbeat, and has a really positive attitude. It's hard to take a bad picture of her."
No kidding. That's no doubt due to the Florida-raised beauty's enviable curves, which many are celebrating as a healthier-looking alternative within the fashion industry.
"I think it's important to look at magazines and think a healthy lifestyle is attainable," Upton says, adding that being confident "doesn't mean starving yourself."
"Now that the fashion industry likes the idea of me, I'm happy if I can have an influence," she adds, though she points out that not all designs work for her figure. "I'm sure every girl can relate. You go shopping and you're not the same size in every brand—some look good on you and others don't. When I lived in Florida, the swimsuit was the key wardrobe piece. I lived 10 minutes from the beach, but I never sat there and said, 'I want to be every man's fantasy.' It wasn't a big deal to be in a bathing suit. Now, whenever girls come up to me saying they're happy to see I am confident about my body, it makes me feel good that I am contributing in a way among people my age, people who could be my friends."
Love it.
