Nashville's beloved crooners hit Las Vegas for the Academy of Country Music Awards, and there was no shortage of diverse looks. Short, long, gold, neon pink— the ladies' stylish picks entertained on the red carpet before taking to the stage. From Nicole Kidman to Carrie Underwood, take a look at who caught our eye with their unique choices.

Nicole Kidman, supporting her husband Keith Urban, showed her allegiance once again to L'Wren Scott, in a black fitted dress from Fall 2012. A sweet collar atop sheer fabric combined a classic look with sex appeal. Kidman rounded out her look with Cartier jewels and L’Wren Scott poppy-red strappy sandals.

Martina McBride stood out in a short white dress from Georges Chakra's Spring 2011 Couture collection. Coral stones adorned the fitted sheath, and McBride didn't over-accessorize the interesting dress with basic nude pumps and minimal jewelry.

Lee Ann Rimes was not one to be ignored in a mesh cut-out number from Stella McCartney's Spring 2012 collection. Christian Louboutin sandals and patterned clutch finished off her look.

Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles was a knock-out in neon. She complemented her pink custom-made Max Azria gown, complete with yellow embellished belt, with Kimberly McDonald earrings and an Edie Parker clutch.

Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, and Carrie Underwood

Taylor Swift continued her beloved partnership with J. Mendel by choosing another of the designer's numbers for the red carpet, this time, an ivory silk crepe crewneck gown with contour gold lamé inserts. The singer added Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Christian Louboutin platform sandals to her ever-increasingly grown-up repertoire.

Miranda Lambert went for the gold twice: in a gorgeous sequined Randi Rohm gown and as the Album of the Year winner. Fred Leighton jewels and lightly curled, sideswept hair lent an Old Hollywood vibe to the country singer.

Carrie Underwood, in her usual sideswept hair and classic makeup, posed for photographers in an Abed Mahfouz strapless gown with a peekaboo split up the thigh, before changing outfits once inside the ceremony.
