Diane Kruger gets our vote as one of the best dressed at the 2011 Met Costume Institute Gala.
The style icon, who never disappoints on the red carpet, opted for a nude Chantilly-lace top with Gustav Klimt–inspired wheel paillette embroidery and a black silk chiffon draped skirt, both by Jason Wu—one of her favorite designers.
The ensemble, from Wu's Fall 2011 collection, featured a super-thigh-high slit that made Kruger's lean legs appear miles long.
With her blonde hair in retro-inspired waves and lips painted a bold red, the look was nothing short of pure glamour.
Karl Lagerfeld's muse kept accessories understated with Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry, a Jimmy Choo Lina clutch, and black Manolo Blahnik sandals.
