This Weekend at Bloomingdale's: Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry Artisan Corner

Nothing like a little bubbly and bling to get you in glamour mode, especially if it's Gucci.

Last evening Gucci previewed The Timepieces & Jewelry Artisan Corner at The Standard Hotel in New York City.

The corner will make its way to Bloomingdale’s 59th Street’s Fine Jewelry floor this weekend, from Friday October 12th through Sunday October 14, and it's worth a pit stop to see the evolution of the storied sparklers.

One can imagine the time, precision and delicate touch it would take to create such divine pieces of ultimate luxury, and now, you can watch the most skilled artisans from the Gucci workshop in La Chaux-de-Fond in Switzerland work their meticulous magic.

With the artisan seated at a traditional jewelry bench, you can watch everything from the goldsmithing and gemstone setting to polishing and finishing, with the end result being one of the brand's iconic Horsebit Cocktail rings.

So add a little luxury to your lazy weekend routine.
