Keira Knightley's Summer Chanel Beauty Look
With a fresh-faced, lightly sun-kissed glow, soft nude lips and full luscious lashes, Keira Knightley showcases summer beauty at its finest.
At the premiere of her new film, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, during the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival, Chanel created a makeup look to complement Knightley's low-key, yet stunning natural beauty.
The overall look was light and clean with a few delicate hues of warm color. To start, the Chanel makeup artist used the brand's Volumiere Aqua Ultra-Makeup to even Knightley's skin tone and illuminate her complexion. After the foundation, By Terry Rose De Rose cheek tint was applied for pink shine, followed by Chanel Powder Blush in Tumulte to add an extra pop of pink on the upper cheekbones.
For the striking eyelashes, Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler was used followed by Chanel Imitable Waterproof Mascara on the base to hold the curl. A combination of strip and individual lashes were added to Knightley's own lashes for natural, yet longer looking lashes.
For the soft lip color, Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in Liberte was mixed with Chanel Rouge Coco Baume.
A red floral headband from the Chanel 2012 Cruise collection worn on Knightly's loose updo completed her ethereally-chic look.
