Tiffany & Co. Celebrates 175th Anniversary and Tumblr Launch

An evening of cocktails and cinema with Tiffany's is giving 'Breakfast' some stiff competition.
The storied jewelry brand celebrated their 175th anniversary and launch on Tumblr with an evening of food, film and fine luxury.
Along with drinks and hors d'oeuvres, the focal point of the evening was the premiere of the Dream Maker video. Offering a first ever behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the making of a Tiffany Diamond, the film combined the talents of Oscar-nominated cinematographer Darius Khondji and Golden Globe-nominated composer Abel Korzeniowski.
Abel Korzeniowski told FashionEtc, "A strange thing happened, while working on The Dream Maker. I realized that my music is a lot like that jewelry—all about a clean, elegant and perfectly proportional design, seeking the ultimate harmony between all the elements of the composition, and paying unbelievable attention to detail. I obsess about the smallest elements of my music, about how they interact with each other creating a bigger emotional story. I could see the same in the beautiful pieces made by Tiffany."
