‘New Year's Eve’ Premiere: Red Carpet Roundup

Hilary Swank, Abigail Breslin, Fergie and Lea Michele looking very New Year's Eve-worthy.
With a mile-long black carpet and an A-list cast of thousands (or so it seems!), Hollywood rang in 2012 a little early with the premiere of the highly anticipated rom-com, New Year's Eve.
A celebrity who's who filled Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles for the Valentine's Day sequel, and there was no shortage on festive fashion for the holiday-themed movie.
Hilary Swank dazzled in a midnight blue embroidered dress with a velvet floral appliqué at the waist from Elie Saab's Fall 2011 couture collection. The actress added extra shimmer with blue glitter Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels and Neil Lane jewelry.
Abigail Breslin looked ultra-feminine in a white silk tulle corset dress with crystal beaded detail by Marchesa, which she accessorized with Kwiat jewelry and an elegant half-up hairstyle.
Fergie, who was there to support hubby Josh Duhamel, sparkled in a strapless silver mirrored Monique Lhuillier dress from the Resort 2012 collection, silver Christian Louboutin peep-toe platforms, a Jimmy Choo clutch, and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Forgoing a shorter hemline, Lea Michele went the distance in a sweeping (and revealing) nude tulle gown with gold beaded embellishments and a halter neckline from Valentino's Spring 2012 runway. Loose waves and Neil Lane jewels completed the Glee star's knockout look.
The classic LBD (a NYE staple) was also well represented on the likes of Sofia Vergara, who showed off her signature curves in a strapless black dress featuring a sexy, corseted bodice. Katherine Heigl also went for a noir strapless number in lace by Dolce & Gabbana.
Rounding out the to-the-knee trend as well as adding some color to the mix, Michelle Pfeiffer reigned in an aubergine dress, also by Dolce & Gabbana, with delicate cap sleeves and a sweetheart neckline.
