Alice + Olivia Celebrates New York's Downtown Darlings

While Parisian chic reigned uptown Wednesday night, NYC’s sparkliest party girls held court at downtown hot spot The Lion for a private dinner hosted by Alice + Olivia’s Stacey Bendet.
With the brand opening a new store this Saturday on Madison Ave., Bendet is setting out to bring a little downtown flash to her new uptown spot. The plan? The girls at the bash—which included actress Abigail Breslin, bloggers Kelly Framel of the Glamourai and P.S. I Made This’s Erica Domesek, and musicians and DJs like Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe—had photos taken of themselves dolled up in tiaras and feather boas that will go on to decorate the new store.
“We wanted to pick girls in New York that are doing things that are interesting and have great style—it’s our take on who the New York darlings are,” said Bendet, who sported sparkly shades and an electric blue feathered fascinator. “We told everyone tonight to take one piece of Alice + Olivia—not head to toe—and style it their own way.”
One particularly stylish girl was Bendet’s 2-year-old, Eloise, who made an early appearance at the dinner. “We selected her as one of the darlings!” laughed Bendet. “She has really good style. She wears hats, tiaras, hot pink sunglasses—she’s good!”
Of course, Bendet welcomed her second daughter, Scarlet Haven Eisner, just a few weeks ago; is it safe to say there’s another downtown darling in the household these days?
“It’s really hard to tell,” Bendet said. “She’s got good hair, though!”
