Karl Lagerfeld: ‘I Don't Like Pippa Middleton's Face’

If making insults were an Olympic event, Karl Lagerfeld just might have a shot at the gold.

Just months after controversially calling singer Adele "too fat," the Chanel designer has allegedly made disparaging comments about none other than royal sister-in-law Pippa Middleton, The Sun reports.

"[Pippa] struggles," he is quoted as saying. "I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back."

Ouch! And we thought Choupette was the catty one ...

Pippa's sister Kate—currently gracing Vanity Fair's Style Issue—fares better.

"Kate Middleton has a nice face and she is the right girl for that boy [Prince William]," Lagerfeld reportedly commented. "I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties."

Recent collaborator Victoria Beckham also gets the KL seal of approval.

"She is great," he says. "I like her a lot. I have known her for many years. She had a career as a singer. She has a beautiful husband and stunning children and now she makes a career in fashion.

"And that body, after four children. There are not so many who have a body like that. She is very disciplined. We have the same eating habits. We did a full fashion shoot with her styled as Coco Chanel in less than three hours."

As for Pippa, well, there may be a silver lining. After all, if, as reports suggest, Adele scored a stash of Chanel handbags by way of apology, what luxurious mea culpa awaits a near-royal?
