Many designers refuse to read their reviews—or in the case of Tom Ford, refuse to be reviewed at all—but Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are not those designers.

For their Fall 2011 Dolce & Gabbana collection, which bowed on February 27 in Milan, the Italian design duo furnished their venue with Wi-Fi, enabling show-goers to send in comments, critiques and observations that were displayed in real time on screens above the catwalk.

According to The Guardian, comments varied from non sequiturs like, “Thank you for the red wine!” to more relatable messages, including, “You are fantastic!”

This isn’t the first time Dolce & Gabbana have embraced technology for their business. They’ve famously embraced bloggers, putting Bryan Boy and Scott Schuman in their front row, and they are prolific tweeters.
