Peachy Keen: Salma Hayek Covers July InStyle
Fresh off her Lucky magazine cover, Salma Hayek has scored even more covetable newsstand real estate: in a blush Alexander McQueen dress, cinching in her signature curves, on the front of July's InStyle magazine.
The actress continues her reign of looking flawless on and off the red carpet. Covering the mag in light waves, a smoky eye, and subtle jewelry (Harry Winston earrings and a Bottega Veneta necklace), Hayek opens up about life with her daughter and husband inside.
"This morning I was feeling jet-lagged," she says, although we don't believe it. "I was still in bed when I heard somebody run into the room. Valentina jumped on my bed and hugged me, and I go, ‘What are you doing? You scared me!’ She started giggling and said to me, 'You desperately needed my energy.' I was so surprised she said that. A four-year-old! And she’s holding me, and it’s so beautiful—and she was so right!”
On her marriage to PPR head and luxury company magnate, François-Henri Pinault: "He's very romantic, and so am I. What’s really romantic are the moments that are unexpected. You can fly somewhere overnight to make [being together] ‘important,’ but it’s the little things of everyday life that count."
She is one lucky lady.
