Dita Von Teese Tweets Must-Have Lipstick
The burlesque beauty is having a makeup emergency: She finally discovered the perfect product for her signature red lips but can’t track it down.
In a January 24 post on her Twitter page, a panic-stricken Von Teese told her followers, “New favorite red lipstick alert: Make Up Store brand Matte lipstick in ‘Devil.’ No idea where to buy, but NEED more!!”

According to the Make Up Store Web site, the Scandinavian brand has more than 130 boutiques in 20 countries, including a U.S. shop (telephone number 303-708-0086) at the Park Meadows Mall in Lonetree, Colo. Snapping up the $20 brick-red hue, which keeps lips pillow-soft thanks to shea butter and avocado oil, is just a phone call—or plane ride—away.
While Von Teese may have trouble locating lipstick, she’s a pro when it comes to clothing. When a Twitter follower recently asked about her favorite online vintage shops, the retro-styled star—who is working on a DIY beauty book—didn’t hesitate to respond: “www.vintageous.com, www.thefrock.com, and eBay!”
