Givenchy for H&M Rumors Denied
The fashion rumor mill went into overdrive with buzz about a Givenchy and H&M collaboration.
The rumor, which spread like wildfire after several editors tweeted it, is still likely to happen sometime in the future.
However, according to Vogue U.K., Givenchy has denied the upcoming collab, calling the rumors “false.”
At the Maison Martin Margiela x H&M launch just a couple weeks ago, Fashion Telegraph caught up with H&M creative adviser Margareta Van Den Bosch, who said, "We will not have any [collaborations] for spring [2013]..We decided to skip it, as we have had so many this year. So it'll be something for next November."
Collaborations with Marni, Versace, Maison Martin Margiela, as well as David Beckham, have all hit stores internationally since February, so it makes sense that the beloved Swedish retailer would want to take a breather.
Doesn't mean we won't wait with bated breath for the next H&M hopeful!
