The United States and Chinese governments joined forces to squash a designer handbag counterfeit operation worth a shocking $802 million.

The China-based illegal business involved 37 websites producing fake Louis Vuitton, Coach and Hermès products, and a total of 73 people have so far been arrested.
China's Ministry of Public Security revealed that 20,000 counterfeit handbags were confiscated, along with machinery and materials to create another 50,000 items, WWD reports.
