CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Names Winners
Last night's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund awards ceremony in New York City drew an A-list crowd of celebs and industry insiders.
The ninth annual Wintour-von Furstenberg helmed awards, Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman was this year's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner.
The Los Angeles-based designer, who created his label five years ago, features textiles, using luxurious thick cashmere that he hand dyes, and uses to make blanket and knitwear.
The design prize for the coveted award includes $300,000 and a yearlong mentorship with an industry veteran. Claiming the runners-up spots and $100,000 each were Tabitha Simmons and Jennifer Meyer Maguire of Jennifer Meyer.
The other highly talented seven nominees were Jennifer Fisher; Giulietta; Greg Armas of Assembly New York; Suno; Illesteva; Andrea Lieberman of A.L.C.; and Wes Gordon.
