Well, our Monday just got way better.
Target has announced that Prabal Gurung will be its latest design collaborator, with the First Lady’s go-to designer launching a collection of ready-to-wear plus handbags, shoes, and jewelry on February 10.
Priced from $19.99 to $199.99 for apparel and $12.99 to $39.99 for accessories (holla!), the Prabal Gurung for Target line will include “refined dresses, mixed-media skirts, edgy blazers, and striking shoes,” according to an announcement from the retailer. “I am so thrilled to be working with Target on a collection that brings my designs to a wider audience,” says Gurung, who has previously designed for J.Crew. “This collection was inspired by love and if Target’s guests can feel even a little bit of the love that I felt while I was designing this collection, then I will consider it a job well done.”
“Target’s partnership with Prabal Gurung embodies our commitment to bringing great design to our guests at truly affordable prices,” adds Trish Adams, senior vice president of apparel and accessories, Target. “Prabal has quickly become one of the industry’s most influential designers, and this collaboration enables Target’s guests to shop a beautiful, feminine assortment from a modern visionary.”
