Models in Motion: Fashion GIF Exhibition

GIFs have had a recent moment in the fashion world. With brands and designers all trying to get more and more digitally savvy, the moving pic has caught on for catwalk and campaign images across the industry. Everyone from Alice + Olivia to Calvin Klein can't get enough of the GIF.

Get on board with the tech-chic trend, Paddle8 and Tumblr created a new digital GIF exhibition, according to Style.com.

Starting today, GIF submissions will be accepted via Tumblr. Ending November 17, the submissions will be judged by a panel of fashion and art experts including Michael Stipe, the Rodarte sisters, Nicola Formichetti, Richard Phillips, James Frey, and Vinoodh Matadin & Inez van Lamsweerde.

The chosen GIFs will be displayed at an actual exhibition, entitled Moving the Still, at Art Basel Miami in December.
