Yum! Lanvin Creates Ladurée Macaroons

Sweet treat: Lanvin's bubblegum macaroons.
It never requires any arm-twisting to be sold on a box of Ladurée macaroons. But a box of Ladurée macaroons created specially by Lanvin's Alber Elbaz? Now you're just showing off.
Following in the footsteps of John Galliano and Christian Louboutin, Elbaz has joined forces with Ladurée pastry chef Vincent Lemains to create pink bubblegum-flavored macaroons that are presented in a box artfully illustrated with "playful women" and tied with a thick red grosgrain ribbon. No way are we throwing this sucker out.
"Alber Elbaz stirs our imagination, arouses our fantasies and now, plays to our weakness for sweets," Lanvin says in a press statement.
We'll say! The boxes, each of which contain eight macaroons, will debut during Paris Fashion Week, hitting U.S. counters on September 28.
Oh Alber, you shouldn't have ... but we're so glad you did!
