'The Great Gatsby' Costumes Designed by Miuccia Prada

The postponement of Baz Luhrman's The Great Gatsby just got that much more frustrating.

In Vogue's September issue, Miuccia Prada reveals that she designed the glamorous 1920s gowns we've been ogling in the upcoming flick's film stills. (So that's why Luhrman directed that Schiaparelli Prada video for the Met Gala!)

Along with some brand new Miu Miu/Prada-designed pieces, rumor has it we'll also be seeing some evening dresses from the Italian house's archives, hand-picked by Baz Luhrman's wife/costume designer Catherine Martin. Is anyone else squealing with anticipation!?

And since we have an entire year until the movie's release date, let's just all pray for some new film stills — or better yet, a new trailer!
