Marc Jacobs Hiring Twitter Spokesperson
Could you tweet yourself to a job at Marc Jacobs?
You bet. After an esteemed tenure as the label's Twitter spokesman, CEO Robert Duffy is ready to hand off the reins to a new voice, the company announced via—what else?—its @marcjacobsintl Twitter account.
Marc Jacobs is now hiring a "smart, funny, entertaining" person to oversee their Twitter account and social media interactions, a cushy-sounding job that will include benefits, a paid relocation to New York City, and (yes, please!) "generous clothing allowance."
But hold off on sending those resumes. The label is looking for candidates who have the skills to be funny and creative in 140 characters or less.
"We are interviewing only people who are tweeting us," the company tweets.
"Be clever. Smart. Understand our DNA. Say it in one tweet! That is your interview!"
May the best tweeter win!
