Just two seasons after taking the reins at iconic fashion house Paco Rabanne, designer Manish Arora is out.

The departure is by mutual agreement, Women’s Wear Daily reports, with no reason given for the split.

“Revisiting the Paco Rabanne fashion was a very enriching experience and an exceptional artistic and human adventure,” Arora told WWD. “I am, today, happy to have accomplished the mission I was trusted with in order to cast this iconic brand back into the spotlight.”

In addition to scoring red carpet placement on the likes of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, Arora’s collections for the iconic ‘60s brand garnered acclaim from critics like the New York Times’ Eric Wilson, who wrote, “If ever there was a designer-to-brand matchup that was made of perfectly complementary parts, it would be the appointment of Manish Arora as creative director at Paco Rabanne this season.”

A successor for Arora has not been named.
