Adele’s ‘Engagement Ring’ - Just a Loaner!
Calm down, folks—Adele isn't sporting an engagement ring just yet.
The February 21 Brit Awards saw the Vogue cover girl and her fingers stirring up some drama—and we're not talking about her shooting the bird in response to being cut off during her acceptance speech.
A flashy rock on the singer's left ring finger instantly fueled speculation that the loved-up Grammy winner had gotten engaged to boyfriend Simon Konecki. In actuality, the ring is nothing more than a love token on loan from De Beers, Vogue U.K. reports.
On hand to pick up awards for Best British Album and Best British Female, the songbird accessorized her custom black Burberry gown with two De Beers Eternity Bands sandwiching a Solitaire Ring which boasted a 7.41-carat yellow diamond and two rare 1.58-carat trilliant diamonds.
So, yeah, pretty fancy stuff—but sadly headed back to the store, not down the aisle. Way to keep us guessing, girl.
