Halle Berry is designing a shoe line.

If we were Halle Berry, we might spend our days polishing our Oscar and gazing into rumored fiancé's Olivier Martinez's dreamy eyes.

But the lady herself isn't one for staying idle. Having just released a smoking-hot ad campaign for her fourth (but who's counting?) fragrance, the enterprising actress is ready to add "shoe designer" to her diverse resume.

The Revlon brand ambassador is teaming up with Germany's Deichmann Shoes to launch the 5th Avenue by Halle Berry footwear collection, The YBF reports.

Due to hit U.K. stores in early March, the line will feature 40 limited-edition styles for Spring/Summer 2012, with low-heeled sandals and raffia-trimmed peep-toe wedges on offer. Prices will start at just Â£29.99 (about $47 U.S.) a pair.

"Women have always loved shoes," Berry says in a behind-the-scenes video

"It's like if your hair is not right and your shoes are not right, the woman is not right. If both of them are right, you're pretty much OK. And shoes are a statement. They can be very sexy; they can say something about where you are in the day; they can say what your mood is; they give you a chance to accessorize. And I'm a girl that loves to change my shoes all the time. It's an expression of who you are really. I'm a girl if I find a shoe that I really like I like to get them in all colors. I'm big on that."

Berry, who will also star in a commercial promoting the new range, also doesn't shy away from picking favorites.

"I would say I'm a nude girl because this goes with everything," she says of one particular neutral style.

"You can dress it up and dress it down. I can't think of any girl who wouldn't want her name on a brand of shoes. I think that's pretty cool."

Watch your back, Louboutin!
