Prada President Joins The Row
If there were any lingering doubts about the integrity of the Olsen’s luxury style venture, let them be quashed once and for all.
The Row has just tapped veteran fashion executive Francois Kress as its new president and chief operating officer, Women’s Wear Daily reports.
Kress is currently the president and CEO of Prada USA, and previously served as CEO and managing director of both Bulgari and Fendi in North America.
“He quickly became the obvious choice for us and for the brand, having experience in multiple categories which we feel is essential for growth of The Row,” Mary-Kate Olsen told WWD.
“His experience and sensibility will add great value to The Row in its next phase of development,” said Ashley.
The Row is the Olsen twins' high-end fashion offering. The duo also designs contemporary collections Elizabeth & James and Textile Elizabeth & James, juniors line Olsenboye as well as online T-shirt brand StyleMint.
