Lanvin Kids’ Winter 2012: Behind-the-Scenes Video
Need something to help kick off your weekend on a happy note? A handful of adorable little girls playing dress-up in Lanvin should do the trick.
Style.com got its hands on a behind-the-scenes video from the Winter 2012 Lanvin Petite photo shoot, which shows precious French girls trying on gold party dresses, leopard print, jewel-toned toppers, and cozy knits from the label's kids' line.
The pretty young things complete their chic shrunken-down ensembles with accessories we would’ve loved to have had in our childhood costume boxes, such as a red top hat, rhinestone-studded cat-eye glasses, and a few Lanvin-clad dolls.
Plus, don't miss the designer himself, Alber Elbaz, who can be seen on set helping the mini models primp and perfect their looks.
And while the industry often comes under fire for encouraging girls to grow up too fast (push-up bikinis for 7-year-olds, anyone?), these stylish kids appear quite content acting their age.
Watch the video above, and, in related news, check out the forthcoming Lanvin book that designer Alber Elbaz describes as "short and fat."
