Jessica Alba Covers InStyle Australia, Flaunts Post-Baby Body
Stretch marks? Surely you jest.
InStyle Australia's January cover girl Jessica Alba proves she's as sexy as ever in her first fashion shoot since giving birth to second daughter, Haven.
Photographed by Chris Colls, the actress fronts the magazine in a gold metallic Prada Spring 2012 bodysuit and matching cover-up.
Inside, the slimmed-down star—who admits that she didn't gain as much weight in her second pregnancy—models a purple strapless gown from J'Aton as well as a Josh Goot rose-print dress paired with Bottega Veneta heels and a green floral bodysuit, also from Prada's Spring 2012 collection.
"I've been fascinated by fashion since I was a kid," says Alba, who plans to launch a line of eco baby products. "I used to go through magazines ... whatever my mom bought ... and I would draw clothes on the models."
Though she cites Ralph Lauren, Prada, and Diane von Furstenberg, as her go-to labels, the Piaget campaign star isn't afraid to mix it up.
"If I want to be more edgy, I will go with Proenza [Schouler], Lanvin, Versace, or Dolce & Gabbana," she says.
Alba also admits to making an extra effort style-wise during her pregnancy.
"I didn't want to feel frumpy," she tells the magazine. "I still wanted to feel beautiful, elegant, chic and playful—if I could. Especially because you feel so sick, hot, achey, swollen and all of those wonderful things that come with being pregnant."
Like stretch marks. Oh, no, wait ...
