Bergdorf Goodman Gets ‘Unleashed’ in New Film - Exclusive!
Who let the dogs out? And when did they get such good taste?
Set to launch in full on November 23, Bergdorf Goodman's new Unleashed film sees a pack of pooches invading the high-end department store as they sniff out the best holiday gifts for their—we hope—owners.
And apparently bones and belly rubs are so last year, as the luxe-loving pups make a beeline for designer fragrances and Alexander McQueen clutches.
Directed by Theo Stanley, the film highlights not only the gifts on offer this season, but also the New York City fashion destination's commitment to keeping its four-legged customers happy by partnering up with The Humane Society. Dogs are welcome in the store, and holiday treats are available in the Shoe Salon.
"Bergdorf Goodman loves dogs and we've always been a dog-friendly store," vice president and creative director Aidan Kemp told FashionEtc exclusively.
"This year we wanted to bring attention to a worthy charity and The Humane Society of New York seemed to be a natural fit. Like Bergdorf Goodman it's a venerable institution that's been around for more than a century. But we also loved the idea of letting dogs run wild through the store—it felt like it would be a lot of fun, and it was."
