Versace for H&M – Sneak Peek
Versace-philes, it might not be such a bad idea to start lining up outside your local H&M now. Look book images for the highly anticipated collaboration have been released, and we’re predicting retail mayhem when the actual pieces hit sales floors on November 17.
“The collection for H&M is the essence of Versace,” said Donatella Versace in a release.
“For the collaboration we’ve brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace, such as the bright prints, the Greek key and daring cuts. I can’t wait to see how H&M’s wide audience will make these pieces their own.”
The collection includes menswear, womenswear, and—a first for H&M—home goods, like pillows and a bedspread that is classic Versace.
“Versace’s collection for H&M is a moment in fashion,” said H&M’s Margareta van den Bosch. “It is full of strong pieces that stand out, with colors, prints and cuts that are clean and precise.”
Those strong pieces include studded leather jackets, fringed minidresses, scarves, lace-up ankle boots, ornate gold jewelry, bright belts, and plenty of more-is-more looks, which range from $19.95 for a floral ring to $299 for leather looks.
