Alber Elbaz Toasting Monaco Royal Wedding with Hotel Makeover
Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz is giving Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock one heck of a wedding gift.
In celebration of the Monaco royal couple's July 2 nuptials, Elbaz will transform the Hotel Métropole Monte-Carlo into a lovers' paradise, Vogue UK reports.
The recent H&M collaborator is redesigning the staff uniforms (oh, to be a porter!), creating a love-themed playlist, revamping the cocktail and food menus, and assembling honeymoon-worthy packages that include a Lanvin gift. Well, it certainly beats his-and-hers bath towels.
"The Lanvin creative director has also turned his hand to the hotel's décor, centering on the label's Heart collection—featuring impressive flower arrangements and a decorative cake, which will take pride of place in the lobby," adds Vogue UK.
