Looks like Kellwood is kicking off the New Year with a bang.

The fashion group has acquired Rebecca Taylor’s contemporary sportswear brand for an undisclosed sum, according to a press statement.

The New Zealand–born designer, known for her ultrafeminine pieces, joins fellow Kellwood companies ADAM, Phat Farm, and Vince.

“I’m so excited to welcome Rebecca and her team to the Kellwood family,” Kellwood president and CEO Mike Kramer said in the release.

“We see great potential in Rebecca Taylor and look forward to utilizing Kellwood’s strengths to take this brand to the next level.”

“My team and I are delighted to become part of the Kellwood portfolio of brands,” added Taylor, who counts Taylor Swift and Rachel Bilson as celebrity fans.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for both our associates and our overall business, and we look forward to leveraging Kellwood’s size, relationships and resources to continue to grow our business both domestically and internationally.”

The Rebecca Taylor label currently sells in close to 500 locations across 40 countries.
