To say that fashion editors have gone bananas for Miuccia Prada’s Spring 2011 collection would be a massive understatement.
Fashionista has rounded up the recent slew of magazine covers that showcase Miuccia Prada’s genius stripes, neons, bananas and monkeys—15, by their count.
Glam, Designaré, Harper's Bazaar Australia, Vogue Australia, 160g, American Elle, British Marie Claire, Numéro, Chinese Vogue, Vogue Nippon, Elle Sweden, American Elle (again!), 10, i-D, and WSJ. are the publications in question, with cover stars ranging from Gisele Bünchen to Amanda Seyfried (twice!) to Anna Wintour.
With the actual spring season barely breaking, could we already be Spring Prada’ed out? That remains to be seen—but something tells us those colorful paillette-covered minis that closed the brand’s Fall 2011 show will be happy to step in soon …
