This girl never stops! Crystal Renn, plus-size (or something) model extraordinaire, has teamed up with StyleCaster for a series of editorials—two videos, one photo shoot—showing that she’s much more than just a pretty face … and body.
Stand By, a four-minute film directed by Jason Last, shows Renn as a Marchesa-clad drama queen—inspired by Courtney Love and Angelina Jolie in Girl, Interrupted—who gets stood up and then goes off the deep end. Who knew Renn could act?
For In Her Skin, the photo story, a bright-eyed Renn sports Altuzarra’s snakeskin-heavy Spring 2011 collection.
And Surfer (above) shows Renn with frizzy hair, dewy skin, and coral lips, dancing around to marching band music in Marni’s beachy Spring 2011 collection. Bringing the surf inspiration to life? Several Chanel surfboards.
