Scarlett Johansson Doesn't Care About Marriage or Babies
Unlike Jennifer Lawrence, Scarlett Johansson's had a rough couple of years.
She split from hubby Ryan Reynolds only to see him marry Blake Lively a few years later, dated Sean Penn, endured a number of tabloids dishing about her weight (some of which went along with nude photographs), and yet she's managed to keep her chin up like a champ.
Yes, part of this is likely because she's received rave reviews about her Broadway performance in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, but also because Elle UK's February covergirl has a whole new outlook on life.
"I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married actually," ScarJo tells Elle UK. "To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn't mean you have to be married."
"I feel like I've been transitioning from young woman into womanhood for a very long time," she continued. "Now as I approach 30, with the last few years behind me, I feel like growing pains are behind me. It's just nice to feel happy. I'm not having kids anytime soon, I'm in a nice relationship, I'm working a lot, and, like I said, it's really not important to me."
