Lindsay Lohan Speaks Out About Fame
For the past 8 years, Lindsay Lohan has been a media target, garnering more negative attention than anyone else in the industry.
True, a lot of it she has brought upon herself (DUIs, probation violation, etc), but it can't all be true, can it?
In a recent interview, the Liz & Dick star opened up about the attention she's been getting all these years:
"Since I was a kid, I've loved being on camera. Don't misconstrue that; I didn't strive to have flashbulbs at dinner or people who don't me calling TMZ. And 99 percent of the time, it's not true. I feel bullied. I can't think of any actor who has been subjected to such extreme publicity who hasn't, like, committed suicide."
She certainly has a point, but it seems that other celebrities who have received equal negative attention (i.e. Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Mischa Barton...) have tamed their ways to stay out of the spotlight.
Is there something Lilo isn't doing or will the media forever be addicted to her?
