Mischa Barton Launches Fashion E-Commerce Site
We haven’t seen too much of Mischa Barton since the untimely death of her character Marissa Cooper on The O.C., but the actress is gearing up for a comeback—in the fashion industry.
Barton is following in the footsteps of her O.C. costar-turned ShoeMint shoe designer, Rachel Bilson, by launching her own fashion and beauty e-commerce site, MischasPlace.com.

The site offers a full line of clothing, ranging from simple tees and leggings to dresses and jackets, plus accessories like scarves and the handbag line Barton has designed since 2008. There are also Mischa Barton-branded bath and body products, from candles to lotions, and a cosmetics collection that includes eye shadows, blushes, lipstick and gloss, and brushes. (She has been busy!)
Prices for the lot range from a $15 lip gloss to a $350 fur vest, with dresses around $200 and most handbags ringing in under $100.
But the site is just the beginning of Barton’s would-be empire: the Telegraph reports that the actress is looking to open a store of her own in London in the near future. Sounds like she's come a long way from her Newport Beach days.
