Diane Kruger Covers Glamour’s March Issue
When it came to her Glamour photo shoot’s fashion, the choice for Karl Lagerfeld muse Diane Kruger was simple: Chanel, of course—and lots of it.
The German actress sports a black Chanel jacket and Chanel Fine jewelry for the March cover, on which she strikes a sexy pose in a red-and-white-striped Daryl K tee and J Brand denim shorts.
Inside the pages, Kruger goes high-fashion rockabilly, complementing her poufy pompadour, dramatically lined eyes, and bright red lips with a Chanel Fine Jewelry necklace and earrings. Her ensemble: a Stella McCartney blazer, Viktor & Rolf bra top, Theyskens’s Theory pants, Linea Pelle Collection belt, and Christian Louboutin shoes.

“I truly, genuinely like clothes,” Kruger, who stars in the upcoming thriller Unknown, tells the magazine. “Making them is an art form and wearing them is a form of self-expression. I find it very emotional because I can remember moments in my life—my mood, how I felt—through these clothes.”
While the face of Calvin Klein Beauty may be obsessed with fashion, she isn’t one to indulge impulsively.
“The biggest fashion purchase I ever made I thought about for six years,” she says. “I’m not kidding. All my life I wanted to own an Hermès Constance bag, and when I signed with Calvin Klein, I decided this was the time that I could afford it. I truly broke a sweat when I paid for it.”
Not surprisingly, Kruger—an indie darling and style icon who makes her way to the mainstream with her Glamour gig—is very opinionated about her attire and says she appreciates “a well-cut dress. It’s all about the cut. I love three-quarter sleeves. I definitely like it classic; less is more. The thing I despise most is vulgarity, and there’s a lot of that here [in L.A.].”
Unfortunately that sometimes applies to her boyfriend, Fringe star Joshua Jackson.

“I definitely wasn’t fond of these blue sneakers that he wore all the time for about a year and a half,” she says.
