Raise your profile: the Kate wedge by L.K. Bennett
Kate Middleton's Midas touch strikes again!
In response to demand after Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, stepped out in Greta wedges from L.K. Bennett's Spring 2010 collection the day after her wedding, the company has decided to reissue the shoe, now aptly called the Kate.
Available for £165 (about $271), the limited-edition shoe—available in black, red, or blue patent leather with a raffia wedge—will be in stores and online beginning this June. That should be welcome news to Prince Harry's on-off girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, who was reportedly spied buying a look-alike version of the footwear.
The British retailer has good reason to pay tribute to the newlywed. She previously carried one of its clutches during her first royal public outing in February.
Meanwhile, the bride and her prince have scored their own wedding-themed graphic novel.
