Natalie Portman Covers Vogue’s January Issue
Looks like Natalie Portman isn't ready to hang up her dancing shoes just yet.
The "Black Swan" star -- who today snagged a Golden Globe nomination for best actress, drama—is once again hitting the bar for the January issue of Vogue.
Photographed by Peter Lindbergh, Portman looks gorgeous and ethereal on the cover in a ballerina-inspired, pale pink silk chiffon J. Mendel dress paired with romantic pinned-back waves.
Inside, the 29-year-old actress opens up to Vogue's Joan Juliet Buck as she dons designs from the likes of Rodarte and Prada for the shoot, which is set in a somewhat haunting abandoned ballroom.
Though she claims to "consume my own weight in hummus" and alleges that she gained the "freshman fifteen" at Harvard, Portman is careful to maintain a balance between being disciplined and letting go.
"I'm tough on myself in terms of the standards I want to live up to, but that's also part of my pleasure: knowing you are being your fullest self," she tells Vogue. "Being your fullest self is a lot of work."
