Jimmy Choo Launches Second Fragrance, Flash
Flash forward to Spring: Jimmy Choo is offering a scent as chic and sexy as the brand's beloved stiletto.
Following the brand's first scent, called Jimmy Choo, which launched in January 2011, the second fragrance, Flash, will launch this Spring, according to Women's Wear Daily.
Simon Holloway and Sandra Choi, creative directors for the company, told WWD “[the first scent is] very much sensual and intimate," while Flash is "about having a sparkle, being multifaceted and confident and outgoing.”
The modern white floral scent features top notes of pink pepper and strawberry, a heart of tuberose, jasmine and white lily, and a drydown of heliotrope and white woods.
With a 70's chandelier as the inspiration for the old-fashioned flashbulb glitter-encrusted bottle, Choi said, “We want women to feel as excited as they do when they buy a pair of shoes or a handbag,”
The scent will be sold exclusively at Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com from March until September, and beginning in the fall, Flash will roll out to a wider distribution of specialty and selective department stores. Steven Meisel-lensed ads featuring Natasha Poly will break in April.
The perfume will be available in two sizes, (2 oz. for $75) and (3.3 oz. for $98), as well as a 6.7 oz. perfumed body lotion ($46) and a 6.7 oz. shower gel ($38).
