Salma Hayek Launching Beauty Line with CVS
The beauty counter is set to get yet another shot of star power.
Salma Hayek has revealed to T Magazine that she is launching her own beauty line next year.
To be called Nuance, the line has quietly been in the pipeline for six or seven years and will be an affordable range in partnership with CVS.
"I always wanted to do this because my grandmother, who was a beauty, she died at 96 with no wrinkles," the actress and wife of PPR head François-Henri Pinault says.
"And you should see my mother! We have some family secrets … You know how if you burn the stone of the mamey fruit and rub it on your eyelashes it makes them grow?”
The Mexican beauty is planning to tap into the natural healing powers of ingredients like tepezcohuite (as a moisturizer) and concha nacar (as a lightening cream).
“And we’re not even claiming some of the things I know this stuff can do," she adds.
