Watch Betty Boop’s ‘Star Eyes’ Film for Lancôme

You've seen the ads—now catch Betty Boop and Daria Werbowy in action!

The cartoon bombshell and the Canadian supermodel team up in Star Eyes, a short film directed by Joann Sfar to promote Lancôme's Hypnôse Star Mascara.

Dressed to kill in a sparkling black gown with a plunging neckline, Werbowy can be seen stumbling over Boop's signature "boop-oop-a-doop" line, lamenting that she can't say it because "it's just not who I am."

Ms. Boop suddenly arrives to give her a pep talk and to clarify that she's not just a drawing.

"I've been in the business since black and white," Betty says, touching up Werbowy's makeup. "All stars have a secret: Just say it with the eyes."

She then reveals the new Hypnôse Star Mascara, a generous sweep of which gives Werbowy the confidence to rock her lines. And while she's still holding out for Shakespeare, Werbowy takes comfort in Betty's advice.

"It's not just about words, Daria," she says. "You've got the look. You're a star now."

And thus our two heroines walk off set, trading quips about kissing cartoon men. Now there's some good gossip ...
