Marisa Berenson Launching Skincare Line, Talks Botox and Plastic Surgery
She’s a modeling legend whose days in front of the camera are far from behind her—after all, last September, the then 63-year-old walked in Tom Ford’s debut womenswear show.
Now 64, and still completely gorgeous, Marisa Berenson’s next project is to share her beauty secrets with the masses.
According to the Telegraph, she is launching her own natural skincare line called Sois Sublime, based on the antioxidant-rich prickly pear.
The natural route is the ageless icon’s preferred method; Berenson told the paper that she’s never used Botox or had plastic surgery.
“It's like putting poison in your face,” she said of the injectable. “I have wrinkles like everyone else and I'm not saying it's easy. It's a very difficult process and it's a cruel one—probably more so if you've been in the limelight and if you're known for your beauty and all of that.”
While she won’t swear off surgery, she is hoping for developments in the industry that are not as extreme.
“I think there are going to be new things that are less… aggressive,” she said. “I don't rule out what's down the line. But I hope not, I would just like to just be able to grow old gracefully.”
