Justin Bieber’s Someday Fragrance Breaks Sales Records
You can’t underestimate the power of the Bieliebers.
When Justin Bieber brought his fragrance, Someday, to Macy’s, the mob scene quickly became the stuff of legend—but it turns out the fans weren't just there for screams: they ponied up the cash.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, the fragrance brought in over $3 million in retail sales in less than three weeks, breaking the fragrance record set by Beyoncé’s Heat in February 2010.
It was also reportedly the top-selling prestige fragrance in the U.S. during the two-week period that ended July 2.
The scent, which has notes of mandarin, pear, wild berry, and jasmine, is priced at $55 for a 3.4 ounce bottle and is sold in an estimated 2,500 doors.
“Let’s be real, the way a girl smells is very important to a guy!” Bieber told WWD in May. “I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them closer to my world.”
