Dolce & Gabbana’s Secret Eyes Mascara
Dolce & Gabbana collaborator and makeup artist extraordinaire Pat McGrath may have professed her love for the spider lash not long ago, but now she’s got a new mascara secret up her sleeve.
The beauty extension of the fashion house has announced the launch of Secret Eyes Mascara, with a new mineral and polymer-based formula as well as spherical-fiber brush designed to deliver lightweight, long, feminine lashes (no Tammy Faye fringe here!).
“The brush is designed in such a way that even the tricky corner lashes are coated using one easy stroke and, at the same time, the texture is so buildable that when I layer or re-apply, it’s always clean and effortless, virtually smudge-proof,” McGrath explained in a release. “For me, having a choice of two mascaras is fantastic because the proper mascara makes all the difference when you’re creating a specific look or a mood.”
“True seduction begins with a woman’s eyes,” said Domenico Dolce. “Gorgeous eyes framed by long sexy lashed simply cast a spell. In Sicily a glance can speak more than a thousand words!”
Scarlett Johansson, the face of Dolce & Gabbana The Make Up, is similarly enamored. “I’ll start with a light flirty look in the morning, then later I’ll want something fuller and more dramatic,” the actress revealed. “Secret Eyes has a divine texture so you can feel free to layer.”
Secret Eyes mascara is available in Black or Coffee at Saks Fifth Avenue.
