If you’ve tried one lotion or body wash, you’ve tried them all, right? Guess again.
Nivea unveiled its newest Hydra IQ lotions and body washes in New York City—the brand fused its already-famous moisture replenishing technology into brand-new formulas—and, quite frankly, these newbies have some serious hydration tricks up their sleeve.
What exactly makes them so special? It’s all about how long the hydration lasts. The patented Hydra IQ technology balances the skin’s moisture levels—just like you would expect from a good lotion—but it also continues to promote water transfer throughout the skin for up to 24 hours. Translation: Deep hydration that lasts all day, literally. And it melts right into your skin.
In clinical tests, 2 out of 3 women said it worked better than their current products—a consensus that was echoed loud and clear in the “confessional” booth at the event. As one beauty editor shrieked into the video recorder: “It’s not even greasy! I’m not kidding, I’m loving this.”
The super-smart hydration technology is available in four new products—a body lotion, a moisturizing gel, and two cream-oil body washes—and can be found at food, drug, and mass retailers nationwide. How you choose to break up with your current lotion … well that’s up to you.
