Go green: Kio Kio Body Cream in Rainforest Koromiko

If the upcoming Earth Day has you rethinking your beauty routine, Anthropologie has a recommendation for you.

Kio Kio, the New Zealand–based, eco-friendly bath and body line, will be available at Anthropologie starting May 13. Kio Kio uses no parabens, petroleum derivatives, by-products, propylene glycol, PEGS, silicones, GMOs, artificial colors, synthetic fillers, isothiazolinone, DEA or TEA, IBPC, harsh detergents, or surfactants.

What is in it? Natural plant extracts (and only leaves that can be removed without damaging the plant), certified organic ingredients, and organic spring water. Even the packaging is recyclable, uncoated, and uses only water-based dyes.

The collection is made up of body soap, wash, lotion, mist, and cream, in four Pacific-inspired scents: Citrus Petal and Tarata, Pacific Tiare and Ti Kauka, Rainforest and Koromiko, and Frangipani and Puriri.

"We are very excited that Kio Kio is going to be featured at Anthropologie.com and see them as an ideal retail partner as we both share a love of vibrant color and innovative design,” Fiona Terry, cofounder of the line, said in a release.

Anthropologie will be the brand’s first U.S. retail outpost, though it’s currently available online at RonRobinson.com.
