Infusion de Rose, the newest fragrance from Prada
Prada certainly isn't fooling around with its latest fragrance, which launches today, April 1.
Infusion de Rose, the fashion house's fourth scent from its Ephemeral Infusion collection, makes it beauty-counter début with an intoxicating blend of Bulgarian and Turkish rose, Italian mandarin, peppermint, Brazilian mate leaf, and Laotian beeswax.
"Sweetness is offset by a mischievous playfulness in the mixture of ingredients: Imagine fresh rose petals mingling with tea, roses and honey, crushed in the hand with mint leaves," the label says in a press release.
The fragrance's romantic pink packaging takes its inspiration from the Prada Spring/Summer 2008 collection, borrowing a whimsical print featuring wood nymphs on a background of rose petals. Stamped with the Prada crest, the glass flacon recalls vintage perfume bottles and is topped with a chic pink ombré stopper.
Infusion de Rose will retail for $105 at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
