TOMS' Blake Mycoskie and FEED Projects' Lauren Bush Lauren

Having already collaborated with The Row, TOMS' Blake Mycoskie has doubled the slip-ons' appeal —and goodwill— through yet another partnership, this time with a fellow stylish philanthropist, FEED Projects' Lauren Bush Lauren.

Need a refresher? The charitable footwear brand founded by the native Texan gives away one pair of shoes for every pair purchased, while the FEED Projects tackle worldwide hunger through the sale of burlap and cotton bags, in conjunction with the UN World Food Programme, UNICEF, and DonorsChoose.org.

And thanks to the new limited edition FEED 12 TOMS Classics, emblazoned with the FEED logo, both companies are uniting to provide food and footwear to disadvantaged kids. Each purchase provides a pair of shoes and 12 school meals to a child in need.

The pairing was a long time coming and to the brands' fans and to Lauren, it just makes sense.

"Blake has always been an active supporter of FEED, as I am of TOMS, so we’ve talked about collaborating for a while," Lauren stated in a press release. "Coming together for the design process was really seamless as our aesthetics are quite similar: both brands have a natural feeling because of the materials used and are minimalist for simple, every day wear." Mycoskie agrees: "At the end of the day, both Lauren and I are working for the same goal, to help others, and we think combining forces can only work to relay a stronger message."

Hurry, though: the shoes are exclusively available on TOMS.com for women ($58) and toddlers ($34) starting April 1. Until then, enter to win our Essie nail polish giveaway, in support of TOMS' One Day Without Shoes.

A small price to pay for two pairs of shoes and 12 meals, don't you think?
